Terms of sale and use
Last updated: [DATE]
These terms are between you and [OWNER'S LEGAL NAME OR BUSINESS], [ADDRESS] ("we", "us"), the maker of Z Bot. By creating an account, buying a license or using Z Bot you agree to them.
1. What Z Bot is
Z Bot is software that runs on your own Windows PC and, using your own Kalshi account and API key, can place orders on Kalshi's 15-minute Bitcoin markets according to settings you choose. It is a tool. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and we are not a broker, adviser or exchange. Z Bot is independent software and is not made, endorsed or supported by Kalshi.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18, able to make a binding contract, and allowed to use Kalshi where you live. You are responsible for following Kalshi's terms and the laws that apply to you, including taxes.
3. Your license
- A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Z Bot on one PC at a time, for the number of Kalshi accounts in your plan.
- You can move your license to another PC from your account page up to 3 times in any 12 months; the old PC stops working.
- You may not share, resell or rent your license or key, copy or redistribute the software, reverse engineer it, or get around its license or safety checks.
- The license does not expire, but it depends on Kalshi's service. If Kalshi changes or stops its markets or API, Z Bot may stop working, and we don't promise to adapt it. [STATE WHAT UPDATES, IF ANY, ARE INCLUDED]
4. Your trades are your decisions
You choose whether Z Bot trades with real money and with what limits. Every order it places is placed on your account, on your instructions, and you are responsible for the results. We don't promise any profit or any level of performance, and results from paper trading, back-tests or other people don't predict your results. Please read the risk notice.
5. Payment and refunds
Prices are shown before you pay and are one-time payments, processed by Stripe. [REFUND POLICY - for example: "You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not activated the license." Check the consumer rules where you sell.] A refunded or charged-back purchase deactivates its license.
6. Suspension
We may suspend or revoke a license if these terms are broken, the payment is reversed, or the license is used fraudulently. A suspended Z Bot stops opening new trades; positions already open settle on Kalshi as normal.
7. No warranty
[HAVE A LAWYER ADAPT THIS SECTION.] Z Bot is provided "as is". It may contain bugs, and it may fail because of your PC, your internet connection, Kalshi, price data sources or other services. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
8. Limit of liability
[HAVE A LAWYER ADAPT THIS SECTION.] To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll show the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email. Continuing to use Z Bot means you accept the new terms.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY]. Questions: [SUPPORT EMAIL].
